According to a statement released on Wednesday, Media Matters founder David Brock has suffered a heart attack.

“David Brock suffered a heart attack while working in the Washington DC office early Tuesday,” senior aide Bradley Beychok said in a statement. “He was quickly transported to a local hospital, received prompt medical treatment, and we are looking forward to a swift recovery.”

Brock, a former conservative journalist, is now a close ally of Hillary Clinton and tirelessly supported her 2016 campaign for the presidency, leading some to wonder whether he had dirt on the former Democratic nominee which she didn’t want getting out.

The Clintons have been known to silence their critics and enemies by any means necessary – just ask any of the women who have been sexually involved or victimized by Bill.

Western Journalism had more on Brock:

He founded the nonprofit liberal media watchdog group Media Matters for America in 2004.

Brock has also organized several other prominent left-wing organizations, including Shareblue, American Bridge, and Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington. Their objective is to raise funds to oppose President Donald Trump’s policies.

Last week, Brock offered a $5 million reward to anyone who can provide him Trump’s “complete, legally obtained tax returns.”

His offer was in response to MSNBC host Rachel Maddow’s report on Trump’s 2005 tax returns.
