Viral YouTube footage from 2013 has resurfaced once again, capturing the ocean life in a way few ever get the opportunity to experience.
The clip was originally ploaded by Wyatt Miller, a pro windsurfer living in Mexico’s La Ventana village, and the co-owner of Pro-Windsurf La Ventana, which is located in the center of the village.
Miller’s business specializes in fun activities for people interested in kayaking, scuba diving, snorkeling, sport fishing, and windsurfing. However, it wasn’t business which had him out on the water on the day he captured his viral footage.
Miller had taken his friend Rachael Callahan wakeboarding in the Sea of Cortez on this particular day, when they were both surprised by a pod of dolphins.
The video shows Callahan surfing among dozens of dolphins as Miller watches from the boat.
In the distance, a bunch of dolphins are heading straight for Callahan, and then suddenly, several start leaping out of the water just ahead of the surfer. Miller laughs in excitement as the dolphins surround his friend’s board.
“We’re going to make a YouTube sensation out of this… we just got a billion hits. Keep filming,” Miller says in the clip.
