One of the biggest scandals to rock Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign was the secret meeting between the Democratic nominee’s husband and then Attorney General Loretta Lynch on the tarmac of Phoenix International Airport last June.
The meeting wasn’t kept secret for long, though, despite the best efforts of the parties involved, who made sure the press was instructed not to take any photographic evidence.
One brazen Arizona journalist broke this rule and captured the meeting on camera, which took place during the height of the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
While many Americans were left furious over the obvious conflict of interest the meeting presented, neither party was ever held accountable. Until now, that it.
According to Mr. Conservative, the right wing watchdog group Judicial Watch announced on Wednesday that it has filed a lawsuit in the United States Court for the District of Columbia seeking to obtain transcripts and records pertaining to the June 2016 meeting.
“The infamous tarmac meeting between President Clinton and AG Lynch is a vivid example of why many Americans believe the Obama administration’s criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton was rigged,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement announcing the lawsuit.
“Now it will be up to Attorney General Sessions at the Trump Justice Department to finally shed some light on this subversion of justice.”
Hopefully, this will lead to justice being served for Clinton and Lynch. I Have The Truth will continue to keep you updated as more information surrounding this story becomes available.
