The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has released a report detailing the top ten countries worldwide who have agreed to take in the most refugees. Sadly, the United States is at the top of the list.
Take a look…
The report in question is a list of the nations that had the most refugees referred to them in 2015. Of the 134,044 refugees resettled by the UNHCR that year, a whopping 82,491 were sent to the U.S.
According to MRC Blog, Canada was a distant second with 22,886 refugees, while Australia came in third with just 9,321.
If you crunch the numbers, this means that the United States took in over 61 percent of all refugees resettled by the UNHCR in 2015.
We need Donald Trump now more than ever.
