We’ve heard about Hillary’s epic meltdown on the night she lost the election to Donald Trump and we’ve seen photos of the president-elect’s reaction to the good news; we know what Obama did, as well as Huma Abedin and Kellyanne Conway.
But, now, we have word on how Michelle Obama spent election night, too.
In a joint interview with People Magazine, the First Lady and President Obama discussed the election.
“This is our democracy, and this is how it works,” said Michelle. “We are ready to work with the next administration and make sure they are as successful as they can be.”
However, despite serving as Hillary Clinton’s number one surrogate on the campaign trail and working tirelessly to get her elected, Michelle couldn’t be bothered to stay up late and see if all her hard work had paid off.
When asked what she did on election night, Michelle responded, “I went to bed. I don’t like to watch the political discourse; I never have.”

She was probably better off that way, anyway. Watching Hillary lose to her arch nemesis might have just been too painful…
