The number of illegal immigrants entering the country has risen every month since February, with the number of family unit aliens captured increasing by 37 percent and the amount of unaccompanied alien children increasing by 19 percent in October alone.

The Department of Homeland Security puts the number of border apprehensions between 7,000 and 10,000 more per month than usual, and in response, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has announced plans for a “temporary” facility which can house 500 illegal immigrants in South Texas.

The new complex is to be built near the Donna-Rio Bravo International Bridge in Donna, Texas, according to the Conservative Post.

Supervisory Border Patrol Agent Marlene Castro wrote in a statement obtained by Breitbart:

“Illicit networks facilitate the majority of cross-border activity and smugglers prey on migrants by extorting money, confining them in deplorable conditions, and often physically and sexually assaulting them. Despite these risks, migrants continue to entrust their lives each day to these unscrupulous criminals.”

I suppose the only silver lining to this unfortunate report is the fact that very soon our president-elect will put a stop to this nonsense!
