BREAKING: ISIS Launches Thanksgiving Day Attack, More Than 70 Dead so Far
The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for a car bomb attack South of Baghdad, which claimed the lives of more than 70 people and injured 20 others on Thursday.
Falah al-Radhi, head of the provincial security committee for the Babylon province, said that the truck-borne bomb mainly killed Iranian Shia pilgrims who were returning from observing Arba’een, an annual religious event in the holy city of Karbala. Iraqi citizens are also believed to be among the wounded and dead.
